DayCor®UVolle

Models: SX | VX

Compact handheld corona cameras for daytime inspection of electrical apparatuses indoors and outdoors, with special emphasis on ergonomic design and intuitive simple operation. UVollé cameras are manufactured under adherence to rigorous quality control standards.

UVollé family incorporates the DayCor® technology, and features thereby very high sensitivity to corona signals and perfect signal positioning. UVollé has a large Sun Readable WVGA LCD, perfect for inspection in sunny conditions, and a powerful LED flashlight, to support poor lit inspected objects. UVollé is fit for remote testing of high & medium voltage apparatuses. UVollé enables seeing pinpointed image of corona partial discharge and the emitting source. The visual information can be augmented with further data about the ambient conditions and GPS, recorded and stored for analysis and documentation. UVollé reveals and displays, in real time on-the fly, existing voltage related faults.

DayCor® Luminar HD

High-end handheld corona camera for daytime inspection of electrical apparatuses in/outdoors, with special emphasis on imaging definition, sensitivity and functionality. Luminar HD camera is manufactured under adherence to rigorous quality control standards.

LuminarHD incorporates Ofil’s benchmarked DayCor® proprietary technology ensuring daytime operation with the highest sensitivity to UV radiation of corona. LuminarHD is ergonomically designed and built for extended uninterrupted operation. Luminar HD has a large Sun Readable WVGA LCD, perfect for inspection in sunny conditions, and a powerful LED flashlight, to support poor lit inspected objects. Luminar HD is fit for remote testing of high & medium voltage apparatuses. It enables seeing pinpointed image of corona partial discharge and the emitting source. With the built-in GPS, temperature & humidity sensor plug and HD imaging, LuminarHD provides pinpointed and specific data that concerns the detected corona under specific ambient conditions in specific locations. Findings are available in real time, displayed on a high definition LCD and ready to be stored on board. LuminarHD assists inspectors investigate electrical faults and get a wider understanding of assets’ condition.

DayCor® UV EYE, UV EYELite

DayCor® UV-EYEs  are  bi-spectral UVc-Visible solar blind block cameras for OEM integration. Ofil’s UV-EYES are robust, rugged and light in weight. They are used for daytime corona & arcing inspection. The incorporated DayCor® technology ensures high sensitivity to ultraviolet (UVc) radiation, which is manifested in excellent detection and pinpointing of corona. Ofil EYEs do not miss any discharge, whether near or far, single or multiple  that are enclosed in the cameras’ FOV.  It should be noted that non destructive remote sensing & testing capabilities depend on the sensor’s sensitivity. Ofil’s DayCor® technology is, by far, the most sensitive and reliable solar blind UVc detection technology and therefore the most attractive option for incorporating as OEM in any inspection system.

Ofil offers 2 models of EYEs, that differ in their physical dimensions, zooming, FOV and sensitivity: EYE and EYElite, as can be seen in their specifications. Both cameras are readily integrated as OEM on railways’ testing wagons, on vehicle roofs, robots, ATVs, as stationary cameras and in aerial systems.

Ofil provides full support and guidelines with installation instructions to customers who wish to integrate these UV-EYEs  in their projects

UV-EYEs on Vehicles Robots and ATVs

Ofil’s UV-EYEs  deliver information about encountered UV radiation. UV-EYEs transmit their output video to a remote monitor where inspectors can virtually see, in real time, both the discharge and the faulty elements. Integrating and mounting Ofil’s EYEs is self explanatory with the aid of a detailed instruction guide and with Ofil’s support.

UV-EYEs on Railways’ Testing Wagons

UV-EYEs are indispensable to ensure the safe ongoing supply of railways electrical traction. UV-EYEs can run be configured to run automatically, scan the railways overhead lines and stream visual data with UV signals of corona that disclose the condition of the inspected installations. Data can be collected for AI and ML and reports.

UV-EYEs on Fixed Mounts

Ofil’s UV EYEs can assist maintenance teams monitor 24/7 critical electrical apparatuses.  Detecting UV corona & arcing in real time reveals faults in their early stages.  Ofil’s UV-EYEs assist assets managers extend the life time of critical, costly or rare components and ensure the uninterrupted reliable supply of power.

DayCor® MiCrom HD

DayCor® micROM HD is an innovative corona camera designed for use on UAV. It is electromagnetically shielded, small and light with ready interfaces to communication protocols. micROM HD is the first micro HD camera with dual sensors UV & Visible, capable of detecting and imaging corona in daylight.  micROM HD is offered with or without Plug-N-Play integration solution (see accessories).

micROM HD streams out videos of the inspected electrical elements revealing sources of corona and records them internally. With the embedded DayCor® technology micROM HD acts as a high sensitivity testing equipment providing reliable precise information about electrical and mechanical faults. micROM accepts external GPS and ambient condition data and integrates them with the recorded footage.

micROM HD comes with ready to use ports for communicating with drones. Integration is easy and straight forwards. micROM is remotely controlled by a set commands that are supplied to drone operators to be configured on their remote control.  The HD imaging serves well the need for detailed clear views of remote specific grid elements.

micROM HD is offered both as a block camera that fits well into a wide range of gimbals and as OEM camera core per individual preferences and optional customization.

DayCor® ROM Ultra

Overhead power lines are critical infrastructure which must be inspected periodically to ensure the secure supply of energy and to comply with regulatory requirements. The need for predictive maintenance, the ability to use the full network capacity of the grid, and avoidance of liabilities from wildfires are further reasons for inspections of the power grid.

Our high performance sensor options enable fault detection of hot spots in HD with radiometric fixed focal & zoomable Infrared (IR) sensors; detection and identification of UV/Corona faults in HD with zoomable Ultraviolet (UV) sensors; optical fault analysis from zoomable 4K/HD video sensors; and high resolution (61-120MP) image documentation including burst shooting.

Our intuitive graphical controller makes data acquisition a breeze, saving flight- and post processing time. Advanced automation functions – including geo-locking, automatic steering and fault detection – increase the precision and efficieny of your inspections further.
